Quality & Environment

Quality & environmental issues can be adressed from many different perspectives. To us it is a matter of survival.

Focusing on longterm customer relationships the cold fact is that a dissatisfied customer sooner or later will find a better alternative. In accordance with this, we put continuous effort into making all employees comitted to our perspective and in turn involve suppliers and others. Documented quality and environmental systems are both handled at monthly meetings for continuous improvement, with all personnel attending. It is our ambition that these meetings - in accordance with the documented systems - will drive the continuous improvement forward.

Quality System TQM

The quality system (TQM) is an important part of our business plan, with the objective of constant quality and efficiency improvement within all company departments.

Based on a quality policy, routines are divided into four areas; order handling (OH), production (PR), orderliness (OR) and return handling (RH). Each area is divided into routines (i.e. PR2) and sub routines (i.e. PR2.3.1). Every routin and sub routine consists of responsibility, demarcation and routine description.

Environment Control System

Jigrafs environment control system (ECS), based on an environmental policy, focuses on the minutest possible environmental influence, realised by continuous improvement within production, purchase and sales.

All solvents were removed from the production process a long time ago and only waste water is leaving the production process. In addition we try to convince our customers to use the most environmental friendly material alternative in every situation. Within purchase we prioritize suppliers active within environmental issues, although most suppliers are multinational companys with large environmental obligations.
