Jigraf VMI - Vendor Managed Inventory
The Jigraf concept for customer inventory management.
Our Jigraf VMI Concept, focused at reducing or even eliminatating label inventory for our customers, is under constant improvement. Through close relationships with our customers we are exchanging information about label needs and lead times. The labels are produced in the most economical way for each product based on this information. Fundamental for the Jigraf VMI concept is our digital print, meaning only the high volume orders are produced for stock keeping.
To our costmers the VMI concept will give impact on capital accumulation, fewer suppliers, less administration and less scrapping.
New Digital Offset Press
HP Digital Offset press for producing high end digital labels.
A new digital offset press from HP has been installed at Jigraf. It is aimed at existing and new customers needing supreme quality labels and short lead times. For customers with many articles this is a line extension of our Print on Demand concept, focusing on reducing or even eliminating label stock keeping.
New Booklet Label Equipment
We are now able to offer an even larger range of booklet label solutions.
Jigraf has been producing booklet labels for several years now. Our new machine investment was designed - based on this experience - toghether with a British/German machine manufacturer. We can produce booklet labels with inlays of up to 36 pages in it and in small or big formats, many or few. Booklet labels are used i.e. for Onpack Promotions, Direct Marketing campaigns and for extended information needs within the food-, chemical- and cosmetic industry.
Jigraf Webshop
Together with our IT partner we have developed our own web based order handling system.
Our customers will be able to display their own articles, place and follow orders, aswell as deliveries on the web. We are convinced it will result in higher efficiency and better tracability to our partners.
Digital Print
Jigraf now also produces digitally printed fourcolour labels
Digital fourcoulour print means high quality (1.200 dpi) print, reasonably priced on small and medium sized runs. For customers with many articles we are able to Print On Demand and thereby reduce or even eliminate stock keeping. In addition, this means greater freedom of quick action, since layout chanches can be carried out immediately, without costly stock scrapping.
New Customer Web Tool
Our new customer web tool is launched.
We are cooperating with some key customers on sharing relevant information of common interest and synchronising the logistic flow. After identifying what information is of mutual relevance, the web tool is taylor made from each customers configuration.
